1. CRTS™ (Controlled-Release Technology & Support System)

2. Methocel (Micro-Polymer Hydrophilic Ether Matrix): Methocel is a controlled-release technology produced by Dow Pharmaceutical. Methocel enables Nitrix to support prolonged (several hours) increases in whole-body nitric oxide production. This is essential, as nitric oxide has a halflife of only a few seconds or less.

3. L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AKG): Nitrix contains arginine; an amino acid and a precursor to nitric oxide.

Science suggests that chemically bonding AKG to arginine may enhance its conversion into nitric oxide, thereby more powerfully increasing blood nitic oxide levels. Nitric oxide stimulates vasodilation (i.e. opening of blood vessels) and may be involved in the muscle hypertrophic (growth) response to exercise.

4. Phosphoplexx (Calcium Phosphate, Di-Potassium Phosphate, and Sodium Phosphate): Phosphates are an important element of Nitrix, enhancing muscle phosphocreatine production along with muscle strength and endurance.

5. NEW TO FORMULA - CEM3™ (Creatine Ethyl Ester Malate): Nitrix now includes CEM3™’s ethyl ester linkage making it more lipid soluble than regular creatine formulas. This supports rapid and complete transfer across the lipid membrane that surrounds the cells lining your intestine. Taking CEM3™ to the forefront of creatine pharmacology is its patent-pending bond to malic acid. This improves creatine’s water solubility, allowing it to dissolve more easily in the gut. Potential benefits on Nitrix include improved absorption, less wastage, and fewer stomach upsets (bloating, cramps, etc.). Malic acid is also an intermediate in the ATP-generating Krebs Cycle. 7. NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide): NAD is added to Nitrix to support the function of nitric oxidesynthase (NOS), the family of enzymes responsible for synthesizing nitric oxide from Arginine.

8. Folic Acid: Nitrix contains folic acid (vitamin B-11) to support the function of nitric oxidesynthase. Dietary supplementation with folic acid is also effective in lowering homocysteine levels.

Homocysteine is regarded as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Nitrix is intended to serve as the foundation to any medically-approved nutrition and exercise program used by healthy persons 18-49 years of age. Nitrix is not intended for use by persons outside of this age range, or who have a pre-existing medical condition or are not aware of their current health status.

BSN Nitrix Recommended Use for Persons Under 200 Pounds:
As a dietary supplement, take three Nitrix tablets three times per day, every day. Always take Nitrix on an empty stomach (i.e. approximately 30-45 before meals or 2 hours after a meal. Taking Nitrix with food or on a full stomach may diminish its effects. Take the first three Nitrix tablets in the morning upon arising, the second three tablets before lunch and the final three tablets before dinner.

BSN Nitrix Recommended Use for Persons Over 200 Pounds:
Follow the same guidlines as above, but take four Nitrix tablets three times per day, every day on an empty stomach.
